Lumen Systems
Lumen designs architectural lighting controls — hardware that spends its life invisible inside walls. The brief was an identity and site that make control itself feel tangible: precise, physical, and a little theatrical.

A brand drawn with light
The identity system is built from gradients calibrated to the company's own fixtures, photographed rather than rendered. Every surface of the brand is lit by the product, which is the whole pitch in one move.

The site as a control panel
The product pages behave like the hardware: sliders dim the page's own lighting in real time, WebGL-lit renders responding as the physical fixtures would. Specification becomes demonstration.

Engineering the theatrics away from the specs
Beneath the show, the catalogue is severe: flat tables, downloadable IES files, no motion. Electricians and architects arrive at the same site with different jobs, and the design keeps the theatre out of their way.
What clients say
“Working with this studio was a transformative experience. They didn't just design a logo; they codified our future.”
